Mid-Market Account Executive

ATARIX is growing in leaps and bounds and we are looking for an Account Executive to join our RevOps team focusing on the SME and Mid-Market (100-2000 employees) customers in Australia. This segment represents a huge opportunity for Atarix and we want someone who is eager to do the best work of their lives while supporting others in doing the same.

You will be responsible for driving new opportunities and filling our pipeline with prospective customers and driving deals to a close. You will work closely with our customers to understand their business objectives and act as the trusted face of Atarix. You’ll also work closely with the Head of Growth to help align our solutions with the customers’ needs to ensure we’re on track to hitting our ambitious revenue targets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Actively generate new business sales including owning a sales target by whatever means necessary – cold calling, direct marketing/email, and generating referrals with a hunger for the hunt.
  • Manage full-cycle sales processes from sourcing an opportunity to closure.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans and create reliable forecasts.
  • Consistently overachieve the business and revenue objectives set forth in your plan.
  • Drive revenue by connecting with customers and building opportunities that will make all parties more successful.
  • Listen to the needs of the market and share them with the Product and Marketing teams.
  • Approach the role with a growth-oriented, learning, entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Collaborate with peers and management on ways to continually improve sales processes and organisation.
  • Engage cross-functionally when required to progress the deal.
  • Manage end-to-end sales process required to achieve sales targets; discipline, training and development, motivation, performance management and KPIs, communication/feedback, use of sales tools, CRM etc.
  • Provide regular and reliable sales forecasts to the Management Team relating to forecasts with any corrective actions planned.
  • Develop a deep understanding of a prospect’s business environment, and proactively assess, clarify, and validate needs on an ongoing basis to ensure customer satisfaction goals are achieved.
  • Work closely with the Head of Growth to ensure that branding and positioning is implemented correctly, and the successful execution of lead generation campaigns to deliver a solid ROI.
  • Develop a culture of employee high performance and accountability within the RevOps team through leading by example.


  • Proven sales track record and experience with complex cloud technology solutions, SaaS and/or Microsoft solutions
  • Proven history of overachieving quota and results in a high-growth company
  • Experience securing sales/profit results and strategic goals
  • Prospect development and management
  • Ability to qualify sales opportunities in the overall sales process.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Results driven and self-motivated to achieve sales targets
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Highly motivated “Can do” attitude and team player
  • Exemplary work ethic, punctual and reliable.
  • Proactive approach to customers
  • Disciplined in processes
  • Microsoft Cloud Fundamentals certified – preferable
  • Experience using Salesforce CRM – preferable
